For many years Nashaat served in leadership positions with Multinational National Pharmaceutical companies.He has been instrumental in the professional marketing of the novel anti-obesity pharmaceutical treatment. In addition, he headed up the Cardio Metabolic Business Unit in Saudi Arbia, In this capacity he helped market pharmaceuticals that targeted many of the diseases associated with obesity (heart disease, hypertension and diabetes). As an educator he has conducted many obesitymanagement programs for health professionals as well as community health programs for the public.
The scope of his work has focused on diabesity and cardio-metabolic heath education. He has developed strong education and training networks with bariatric centers and world health organization.

Stephen Philips is the Chairman of the Advisory Board for the Center of Therapeutic Excellence and Director of the American Association of Bariatric Counselors (AABC). As a bariatric practitioner, he has more than 30 years of clinical and academic experience in the treatment of obesities and concomitant disorders. In addition to his clinical work, as a post- graduate professor, he has taught in schools of medicine, health science, psychology, and education. He continues to mentor AABC fellows in the Certification and Credentialing program.Public Health Advocacy
Chairman Phillips et al, initiated the development for standards of education and training for the Advanced Certification in Bariatric Science curriculum which has been accredited in the US. AABC is the world’s largest association exclusively representing professional multi-disciplinary certified bariatric counselors.
Co-Founder of HealthCorps, a national US public health education not-for-profit organization. HealthCorps empowers teens by encouraging them to become change agents within their families, schools, and neighborhoods. Utilizing innovative teaching approaches for health and wellness education, the program is committed to providing today’s youth with the tools to become more physically active and mentally resilient.
To date HealthCorps has impacted the lives of 2.5 million high school students in nearly half of all the US States.
Founder of the Touro College/University Children’s Health Education Foundation/Project Aspire. A public health initiative that inspires school age children to have a healthy respect for health and health education. The program builds educational bridges between New York City public schools and their schools of medicine, pharmacy, health science and nursing. The program provides real career pathways for minority students that aspire to pursue health careers.
